Job Title - Sales Head - Procurement Software

Role Overview -

Seeking an experienced Sales Head to drive revenue growth across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait markets within the procurement and supply chain sector.

The ideal candidate will combine deep understanding of GCC procurement dynamics, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation challenges with a proven track record of selling enterprise technology solutions to CPOs, Heads of Procurement, CFOs, and IT leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution-

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for procurement solutions across solutions across GCC markets (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain).
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise clients in procurement, supply chain, and related sectors.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through strategic account management.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with CPOs, Heads of Procurement, CFOs, and IT decision-makers.
  • Position against established platforms like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, and Jaggaer

Market Development & Regulatory Understanding-

  • Identify and penetrate new market segments within the GCC procurement landscape
  • Establish strategic partnerships with system integrators, consultants, and technology vendors
  • Target FMCG, manufacturing, government, and semi-government organizations actively pursuing procurement transformation
  • Establish strategic partnerships with leading procurement consulting firms, system integrators, and technology vendors.
  • Conduct market research to understand regional procurement trends, regulations, and competitive dynamics.
  • Represent at regional procurement forums, trade shows, industry conferences and networking events across the GCC.

Client Relationship Management-

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in procurement organizations
  • Serve as trusted advisor on digital transformation initiatives within procurement functions
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and expansion opportunities
  • Manage contract negotiations and closure of high-value deals

Cross-functional Collaboration-

Work closely with product teams to communicate market feedback and feature requirements

Partner with marketing to develop region-specific campaigns and thought leadership content

Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure successful project implementations

Provide regular forecasting and pipeline reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience & Background Required- -

  • Over 12 years of B2B sales experience specializing in procurement and supply chain solutions across the GCC region.

Proven track record of selling technology solutions (SaaS, enterprise software, or digital platforms) to large enterprises

Deep understanding of procurement processes, challenges, and digital transformation trends

Regional Expertise-

Extensive network and relationships within GCC procurement community

Strong understanding of regional business culture, decision-making processes, and regulatory environment

Experience working with government entities, semi-government organizations, and large private sector companies in GCC

Fluency in Arabic preferred but not mandatory

Skills & Competencies Required-

Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior executives

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Self-motivated with ability to work independently across different time zones

Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales productivity tools

MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel extensively (40-50%) across GCC region

Valid passport and ability to obtain necessary work visas for GCC countries
