Sales & Local Marketing Manager

Job Summary
The BLVD Sacramento is hiring a Sales & Local Marketing Manager to grow private event, corporate event, group, birthday, school, youth, fundraiser, and buyout revenue. This is a hands-on sales leadership role for someone who personally prospects, builds pipeline, closes business, and develops local partnerships that drive weekday traffic and repeat visits.

This role is for a true seller. We are not looking for a passive marketer or event coordinator. We are looking for someone who can generate leads, build relationships, create proposals, close deposits, and help grow booked revenue across multiple sales channels.

Uncapped performance-based incentive tied to booked revenue and approved sales goals. On-target earnings are approximately $120,000 to $145,000+

Responsibilities

  • Drive private event, group, corporate, birthday, school, youth, fundraiser, and buyout sales
  • Prospect local businesses, schools, youth organizations, nonprofits, and community partners
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound calls, emails, networking, follow-up, and local market outreach
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads and convert inquiries into meetings, proposals, and booked business
  • Develop partnerships that increase Monday through Thursday traffic and repeat visits
  • Sell packages, food and beverage, add-ons, premium experiences, and event upgrades
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast reporting in CRM or similar systems
  • Partner closely with operations to ensure strong event execution and repeat business
  • Represent The BLVD Sacramento in the community and at networking events when needed

Qualifications

  • Proven success in event sales, group sales, catering sales, private dining sales, venue sales, hospitality sales, attraction sales, or related revenue-producing roles
  • Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline management skills
  • Ability to quantify personal performance with booked revenue, quota, close rate, event volume, or similar metrics
  • Experience building local partnerships that lead to measurable business results
  • Strong follow-through, urgency, organization, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working onsite in West Sacramento and being active in the local market
  • Experience using CRM or similar tools to manage pipeline and follow-up
