Position Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, highly analytical, commercially driven Sales Manager with minimum 10 years of experience in the chemical industry (chemical raw material sales). The right candidate will manage a sales team, execute direct sales activities, expand our local and international customer portfolio, and align closely with R&D to launch new products into the market.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Execution
• Lead and manage domestic and international sales operations
• Conduct direct customer visits, negotiations, and technical-commercial presentations
• Develop annual sales budgets and track monthly performance
• Analyze sales data, margins, volume trends, and market dynamics
• Expand market share in key chemical segments (water treatment, detergents, coatings,agrochemicals, I&I, polymer technologies)
Product & Market Development
• Understand in depth the full MKS Devo product portfolio
• Collaborate closely with R&D to commercialize new products
• Lead market introduction, pricing, and positioning strategies
• Manage marketing activities for new product launches
Team Leadership
• Manage and mentor the sales team, set KPIs and performance targets
• Build a strong commercial culture focused on growth and customer satisfaction
Customer & Market Relationships
• Maintain and grow a strong network within the Turkish chemical sector
• Develop new customers in Europe, MENA, CIS, Asia, and Africa
• Represent MKS Devo in trade shows and customer events
Requirements
• BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields (mandatory)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the chemical industry
• Proven experience in sales management and direct account handling
• Strong understanding of chemical raw materials
• Existing portfolio/network in chemical sector (TR + international)
• Native-level English (mandatory)
• High energy, disciplined, analytical
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities
• Istanbul residency (European side preferred)
