Job Summary

The Sales Manager – Insurance Broking is responsible for driving insurance sales, developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and leading a sales team to achieve revenue targets. The role involves promoting insurance products across Life, General, and Health Insurance in compliance with IRDAI regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate and retail insurance segments
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Promote insurance products including Life, Health, Motor, and General Insurance
  • Develop customized insurance solutions based on client requirements

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, SMEs, and individual customers
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage sales executives / relationship managers
  • Set performance targets and monitor team productivity
  • Provide regular coaching and motivation to the sales team

Insurer & Market Coordination

  • Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, policy issuance, renewals, and claims support
  • Stay updated on insurance products, pricing, and market trends
  • Ensure smooth policy servicing and timely renewals

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company policies
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, MIS, and pipeline tracking
  • Support audit and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing / Finance preferred)
  • 1–5 years of experience in insurance sales or insurance broking
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Valid IRDAI certification (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
