SALES MANAGER (RESTAURANTS)

JOB SUMMARY:
Essential job function is sales. As such, the role is both demanding and broad. With his/ her sales hat on, the manager is responsible for representing the company's brands to the outside world. Observe the market, competitors and industry trends and drive strategies for increasing awareness of the company's products among the target audience group. Responsible for analysing budgets and making sure the team around is on track with its quotas and goals.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate all purchase acquisitions and purchase orders on regular basis.
- Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising.
- Reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions.
- Enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieve sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Preparing and completing action plans.
- Implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.

- Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements.

- Preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions.
- Determine annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions.
- Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Send daily, weekly and monthly reports with full details on tasks and accomplishment
- Analysing trends and results.
- Establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
- Accomplish sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs.
- Developing field sales action plans.
- Identify sales opportunities by identifying consumer requirements.
- Defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
- Forecasting projected business.
- Establishing targeted market share.
- Improve product profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Improving product packaging.
