Job Description: Sales Manager – Travel Industry

Position: Sales Manager

Industry: Travel & Tourism

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3–6 years

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our travel business by developing strong client relationships, driving sales targets, and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in travel products such as holidays, packages, hotels, flights, and corporate travel.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets

Identify new business opportunities in B2B, B2C, and corporate travel segments

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and partners

Promote travel packages, holiday plans, group tours, and customized itineraries

Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to improve performance

Coordinate with operations and marketing teams for smooth service delivery

Analyze sales reports, market trends, and competitor activities

Attend travel exhibitions, roadshows, and networking events

Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the travel industry

Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel products

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to lead a team and work independently

Target-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or related field

MBA or Travel & Tourism certification is an added advantage
