Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced
Sales Manager
to lead and develop sales activities, drive business growth, expand the customer base, and strengthen market share. The role is responsible for managing the sales team, building strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and insurance sector regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the annual sales strategy in line with company objectives.

Identify target markets and business segments, including corporate, medical, motor, property, and other insurance lines.

Set clear sales KPIs and monitor team performance against targets.

Lead, train, coach, and develop the sales team to maximize performance.

Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and major accounts.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and business agreements with clients and insurance partners.

Explore new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand the client base.

Monitor premium growth, revenue, and commission performance.

Prepare periodic sales reports and present performance updates to senior management.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities and recommend sales initiatives.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and underwriting procedures.

Manage risks associated with sales operations and customer engagement.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.

Minimum
5–8 years
of experience in the insurance industry, including at least
3 years in a leadership role
.

Strong knowledge of insurance products, including medical, motor, property, engineering, and related lines.

Good understanding of insurance sector regulations and compliance requirements.
