Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the solar energy sector and hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence for solar and BESS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for solar and BESS projects
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in commercial and industrial segments
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC partners, and stakeholders
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical-commercial presentations
- Coordinate with engineering teams on system sizing, inverter selection, battery capacity, and integration.
- Conduct site assessments and support feasibility studies when required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 2–3 years of proven experience in solar energy sales
- Hands-on experience in the Sales of (BESS) is mandatory
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, energy storage solutions, and project economics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
