Role Overview
The Sales Manager – E-Learning is responsible for driving revenue and enrollments for online Marketing programs through corporate training (B2B) and individual learners (B2C). The role focuses on consultative selling of career-oriented Marketing, Digital Marketing, Branding, Performance Marketing, Analytics, and Growth programs.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Sales – Corporate & Institutional Training
- Sell Marketing & Digital Marketing training programs to corporates, startups, agencies, colleges, and institutions
- Engage with HR, L&D Heads, Marketing Heads, Founders, and Business Leaders
- Identify corporate upskilling needs and propose customized marketing training solutions
- Close bulk enrollments, workshops, and annual training contracts
- Build long-term corporate and institutional partnerships
B2C Sales – Individual Learners
- Drive enrollments for online Marketing certification programs, bootcamps, and career tracks
- Manage inside sales / academic counseling teams
- Counsel learners on career paths in marketing, program outcomes, and ROI
- Handle high-ticket course sales through consultative, need-based selling
- Improve lead-to-enrollment conversion ratios
Sales Strategy & Marketing Alignment
- Work closely with digital marketing teams on lead quality, campaign performance, and conversion funnels
- Support webinars, demo sessions, workshops, and open houses
- Provide market insights to refine program positioning, pricing, and messaging
Channel & Partnership Development
- Develop partnerships with marketing agencies, colleges, universities, and training institutes
- Build referral and affiliate networks
Team Leadership & Performance
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales counselors and corporate sales executives
- Set targets, KPIs, and incentive structures
- Monitor CRM usage, follow-ups, and pipeline health
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Marketing & Digital Marketing education domain
- Experience in EdTech / Marketing training sales (mandatory)
- Consultative selling and objection-handling skills
- Ability to sell mid to high-ticket programs
- Leadership and performance management capabilities
- CRM and funnel management expertise
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in EdTech / Marketing education sales
- Exposure to both B2B corporate training and B2C learner sales
