Sales Manager – Foodstuff Trading (Eggs, Dairy, Bakery, Fruits & Vegetables)

Company Overview
We are a well-established foodstuff trading company in the UAE, specializing in eggs and expanding into dairy, bakery products, fruits, and vegetables. With over 500 active retail and wholesale outlets across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Umm Al Quwain, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead both our business development and sales operations across all product categories.

Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence, managing key client relationships, and leading the sales team. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and day-to-day sales management, with a strong focus on growth and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and onboard new retail and wholesale clients
• Expand our presence across major supermarket chains and independent outlets
• Develop and implement strategies to introduce new product categories
• Strengthen partnerships with key decision-makers and buyers

Sales Management

• Supervise and guide the sales team to meet and exceed monthly targets
• Monitor team performance and provide regular training and support
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth fulfillment
• Recommend pricing and promotional strategies based on market trends

Market and Operational Oversight

• Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activity
• Analyze sales reports and provide actionable insights to management
• Align sales efforts with company expansion plans
• Ensure high visibility and proper product placement in all outlets

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in food distribution sales or business development in the UAE
• Proven knowledge and client base in eggs, dairy, bakery, and perishable food products
• Strong connections with supermarkets, wholesalers, and foodservice buyers
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Valid UAE driving license
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
