RingOffice is a Toronto-based provider of Cloud Communication, Collaboration, and IT services to small and medium-sized business clients in Canada and the USA. We are seeking a proactive Sales Manager who excels in prospecting and lead generation, possesses excellent language skills, has a technical background, and demonstrates a proven track record of sales and customer service success. This is expected to be a full-time, long-term position with opportunities for growth.

Role Overview

The BDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, prospecting and qualifying potential customers for RingOffice’s cloud phone solutions. This is a high-activity, outbound-focused role that is critical to building a healthy sales pipeline and supporting our growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively Identify and Engage Prospects: Take the initiative to seek out and engage with potential clients through various channels, including chat, email, and calls, rather than relying solely on marketing-generated leads.
  • Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish trust and rapport with prospects by actively reaching out and maintaining ongoing communication to foster strong relationships.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of Unified Communication and Cloud Communication services offered by the organization to effectively communicate value to prospects.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for lead generation.
  • Leverage Social Media for Lead Generation: Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Instagram to identify, pursue, and engage potential prospects actively.
  • Implement Lead Generation Strategies: Develop and execute effective strategies for building a robust and diverse sales funnel through self-initiated outreach and networking.
  • Create Tailored Proposals: Develop comprehensive proposals and bids that address the specific needs and requirements of prospects, showcasing how our solutions can meet their challenges.
  • Conduct Product Demonstrations: Showcase the features and benefits of Unified Communication and Cloud Communication services through engaging product demonstrations.
  • Follow Up Proactively: Take the lead in following up on leads and opportunities to convert them into sales, ensuring no potential client is overlooked.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM: Manage and track all aspects of the sales process using the HubSpot CRM system to maintain organized records of interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with the Order Desk: Work closely with the order desk to ensure a seamless handoff for subscriber onboarding and address any issues that may arise during the order completion process.
  • Cultivate Existing Relationships: Proactively maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers and partners, exploring cross-selling, upselling, and referral opportunities to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Manage Contract Renewals: Take the lead in managing contract and license renewals for customers, ensuring timely processes and addressing any client queries or concerns.
  • Express Appreciation: Conduct post-order completion thank-you calls and emails to express appreciation to clients and encourage positive reviews and feedback.

Requirements

  • Self-Motivated and Productive: Presentable, personable, and able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, preferably in Cloud Solutions, Managed Services, or VoIP/IP PBX services, with a strong focus on self-generated leads.
  • Technical Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven Sales Success: A demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Educational Background: Formal education and certifications in relevant business, sales, and technical disciplines.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written English language skills; bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Availability: Willingness to work during business hours in the US/Canada Eastern Time zone (EST/EDT).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month

Application Question(s):

  • The work schedule follows a hybrid model, requiring the Sales Manager to be in the office three days per week, with the remaining days designated for remote work.
  • The Sales Manager is expected to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), in alignment with standard Canadian business hours.
