We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales & Insurance Operations Manager to lead our team to new heights! In this pivotal role, you will spearhead business development initiatives and drive revenue growth while serving as our primary strategist for insurance-related projects.

This is a unique position that requires a "double-threat" skill set: the leadership to inspire a high-performing sales team and the technical expertise to navigate complex insurance claims. You will be responsible for telling us what is "best money-wise and work-wise" by analyzing system failures against insurance policy coverage. If you are a veteran of the HVAC industry who understands how to maximize profitability through strategic insurance coordination, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Insurance Strategy & Advocacy: Act as the primary liaison with partnered insurance companies. Analyze damaged systems and policy coverage to determine whether repair or replacement is the most profitable and efficient path forward.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide daily recommendations to ownership on job prioritization based on "money-wise" and "work-wise" analysis of insurance payouts versus labor costs.
  • B2B Business Development: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with contractors, property managers, and commercial clients to expand our market presence.
  • Claim Optimization: Oversee the technical documentation and photo evidence required to secure maximum approval from insurance adjusters.
  • CRM & Performance: Utilize platforms like Salesforce to track sales activities, manage insurance pipelines, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing agreements with clients and insurance partners to secure profitable deals while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • HVAC Industry Expertise: Proven experience in outside sales or management specifically within the HVAC sector. You must have a deep technical understanding of residential and commercial systems.
  • Insurance Liaison Experience: Demonstrated success communicating with insurance companies and adjusters. You should know how to navigate the claims process to ensure the company and the customer receive the best possible outcome.
  • B2B & Technical Sales: A strong background in technical sales and account management with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strategic Analysis: Sharp analysis skills to evaluate market trends and, more importantly, the financial viability of insurance-backed projects.
  • Leadership Mastery: Exceptional ability to manage diverse teams and foster a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing customer relationships and complex sales pipelines.
  • Communication: Outstanding ability to translate technical HVAC issues into "business logic" for insurance partners and "actionable strategy" for company ownership.
