- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the general trade market to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key channel partners, including distributors and retailers.
- Drive distribution expansion and market penetration across various regions (e.g., metros, Tier 2/3 cities).
- Oversee field execution, ensuring product visibility, availability, and effective placement at outlets.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the field sales team, setting clear performance goals and providing coaching.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management using sales force automation (SFA) or CRM tools.
- Negotiate contracts and trade terms with clients and distributors.
