About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Book Sales Representative to join our dynamic publishing team. In this role, you will be the primary link between our publishing house and our retail partners, libraries, and educational institutions. Your mission will be to expand our market presence, drive sales growth, and build lasting relationships by promoting our diverse catalog of titles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and acquire new retail accounts (bookstores, gift shops, shops) and institutional clients (schools, universities, libraries).
- Manage and grow existing client relationships within an assigned territory or segment.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Present, pitch, and recommend new titles and backlist books to buyers.
- Conduct regular sales visits (in-person and virtual) to provide catalogs, samples, and marketing materials.
- Take and process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Address client inquiries regarding availability, pricing, and delivery.
- Gather market feedback and communicate trends to the editorial and marketing teams.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of our publishing list, key titles, authors, and genres.
- Effectively communicate the unique selling points of our books.
- Represent the company at book fairs, trade shows, and industry events as required.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts in the company CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and market analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in publishing, bookselling, media, or FMCG.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
- A genuine passion for books and an understanding of the publishing market.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid UAE driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Literature, or a related field.
- Existing network of contacts within the UAE bookselling or educational sector.
