Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager – IT to drive business growth, expand the client base, and manage end-to-end IT sales operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT sales, the ability to understand technical solutions, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets. This role involves client acquisition, solution selling, team coordination, and strategic planning to increase revenue and market presence.
Key Responsibilities 
Sales & Business Development
- Identify potential markets and develop a strong pipeline for IT solutions (Software, ERP, Cloud, IT Services, Digital Solutions, etc.).
- Conduct research to understand client needs and industry trends.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve assigned business targets.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, online platforms, partner channels, and referrals.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demos, and solution consultations.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term professional relationships with new and existing customers.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to understand satisfaction levels and future requirements.
- Manage client escalations professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure high conversion ratio through continuous client engagement and solution-based sales.
Sales Cycle & Coordination
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure and post-sales follow-up.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, sales contracts, and pricing negotiations.
- Coordinate between internal technical, support, and delivery teams to ensure correct solution mapping and project handover.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, MIS, CRM entries, and forecasting.
Targets & Performance
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and suggest improvement strategies.
- Participate in business reviews, planning meetings, and revenue strategy discussions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in IT Sales (Software, ERP, Cloud, Digital Transformation, or IT Services).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise & B2B sales processes.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical offerings and explain them in simple business terms.
- Strong networking abilities and relationship-building skills.
- High ownership, self-motivation, and result-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with travel for client meetings when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
