Sales Manager – Rotary Equipment Spares

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with strong technical knowledge of rotary equipment spares. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in selling or handling spares for compressors (Reciprocating, Screw, Centrifugal), pumps, turbines, and related industrial equipment. Experience in the industrial valve industry will be an added advantage.

This role requires frequent travel to meet customers, visit industrial sites, and expand business across regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and lead business development activities
• Identify and develop new clients for rotary equipment spares
• Visit customer sites and travel to industrial hubs regularly
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Mechanical, Maintenance, and Purchase departments
• Provide technical support, product knowledge, and recommendations
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close orders
• Monitor competitor activity and gather market intelligence
• Oversee order processing and coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery
• Guide, support, and manage the sales team (if applicable)

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience selling/handling spares for compressors, pumps, turbines, or rotating equipment
• Strong network with Mechanical Engineers, Maintenance Teams, and Purchase Executives
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and catalogs
• Experience in the valve industry, B2B sales, and inside sales coordination (preferred)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
• Willingness to travel extensively

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Experience in industrial spares or OEMs is a strong advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
