Job Summary: • Sales Manager – Supply Chain Services (Contract Logistics)
Job Objective • Driving exponential growth in CL business
- Enhance market penetration and promote the capabilities and network of Supreme Supply Chain to customers across sectors.
Key Responsibilities-
Business Development:
- Drive customer acquisition strategy through consultative selling and striking new relationship with COOs.
- Responsible to deliver Budgets and P&L with an expected level of profitability margin
- Assessing "stated and implied" supply chain needs of high-profile prospecting customers.
- Pitch supply chain solutions for warehousing and transportation services in order to help companies be more productive, more efficient and more competitive.
- Lead the development of profitable commercial proposals derived from manpower resource, infrastructure along with other commercial parameters.
- Ensure a strategic fitment of customer requirements and SSC Resources and products
- Carry out negotiations and coordinate complex decision-making process to capture new business opportunities
- Engage with Project, Process, Operations and Customer Account Management (CAM) for smooth on boarding of customers.
- Handling and resolving service issues in consultation with CAM and Operations teams
- Interface with operations team to ensure delivery commitments are met.
Customer Relations:
- Liaise with customers on a regular basis to identify their crucial and urgent requirements.
- Respond to customer mails within the prescribed TAT.
- Escalate cases when required.
Associated Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Exposure to supply chain industry and outsourcing trends prevailing among customers
- Consultative / Solution Selling experience
- Ability to understand strategic supply chain priorities of the customer and generate opportunities
- Well networked with Supply Chain professionals
Reporting: National Head – Sales
Working Conditions: Office based frequent visits to clients / new clients / DC’s and HO for meeting.
Location: Gurgaon
CTC: 10 LPA To 13 LPA.
Required Experience: 5+ yrs of Sales Experience, preferably in the supply chain industry or B2B services industry
