Job Summary
The Sales Manager – Yachts / Maritime is responsible for driving sales revenue through the promotion and sale of G-Lux yacht interior services and products. This role focuses on managing client relationships, preparing quotations and commercial offers, coordinating with the technical team, and ensuring smooth execution of sales-to-delivery processes for yacht-related projects. The Sales Manager will represent the company in the marine industry, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and ensure high customer satisfaction through professional account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue and profitability goals.
- Promote and sell G-LUX yacht interior refurbishment, maintenance, and related maritime services.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of active opportunities and ensure timely follow-up with clients.
- Develop pricing and service proposals in coordination with internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with yacht owners, yacht management companies, captains, brokers, and marine operators.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Ensure excellent client communication and service throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
- Prepare and issue quotations, commercial proposals, cost calculations, contracts, and invoices.
- Ensure all commercial documentation complies with company standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate internal approvals and ensure accuracy of pricing, scope, and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and technical team.
- Coordinate with operations and technical departments to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and delivered.
- Support project execution by ensuring scope alignment, timely approvals, and customer updates.
- Support Accounts Receivable follow-up and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Monitor payment schedules and assist in maintaining healthy cash flow for assigned projects.
- Represent G-LUX at marine exhibitions, yacht shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Support preparation of company presentations, brochures, and promotional materials for maritime services.
- Coordinate with marketing team to support social media content and brand visibility in the marine sector.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
- MBA / MSc is an advantage.
- Engineering or technical background is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in yacht/marine-related sales or commercial roles.
- Experience in yacht interiors, marine maintenance services, or maritime contracting is highly preferred.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of the UAE/GCC maritime market and its business environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven ability to close deals.
- Strong commercial understanding, including pricing, contracts, and quotation preparation.
- Ability to coordinate between customers and technical teams professionally.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Strong customer service and account handling skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting.
- Fluency in English is required
Work Requirements
- Must be able to relocate to Dubai prior to starting employment (required).
- Must be available for client meetings, site visits, and events as required.
