Job Summary

The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue performance for our company. This position is responsible for maximizing occupancy and average daily rate (ADR) through proactive direct sales, strategic account development, and targeted marketing initiatives. The Sales Manager cultivates key partnerships, aligns sales efforts with brand standards, and collaborates cross-functionally to achieve property goals. Success in this role requires a dynamic blend of relationship-building, market insight, and results-driven execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving top-line revenue and cultivating strategic relationships to support the success

Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieve budgeted revenue goals through proactive sales strategies and account development.
  • Create and execute Key Account Action Plans to maximize market share and client retention.
  • Generate new business through direct sales efforts, including appointments, cold calls, and telemarketing outreach.
  • Maintain consistent, professional contact with assigned and target accounts to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure accurate and organized documentation of client interactions and sales activities using a structured file management system.
  • Build strong customer relationships through timely communication and ethical, service-oriented engagement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed customer profiles and trace systems to anticipate client needs and enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and position the hotel effectively
  • Monitor and manage departmental expenses to support cost control and profitability.
  • Represent the hotel within the local and hospitality community through active participation and networking.
  • Schedule and conduct outside sales calls to maintain visibility and drive business.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales, General Manager and department leaders to align sales efforts with operational goals.
  • Participate in weekly sales strategy meetings to review performance, pipeline, and opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects assigned to support team and property success.
