Sales & Marketing Event Coordinator (3 Years Experience Required)(Part-Time)

The Dante Event Center is a premier, full-service event venue proudly serving the Sacramento community for over 60 years, hosting countless weddings, celebrations, corporate meetings, and special events. Our experienced banquet and event coordination team provides customized planning support from the initial design and detailing stages through flawless day-of execution.

We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Event Coordinator who will play a key role in driving event revenue, expanding our digital presence, and supporting seamless event execution. This position blends strategic sales and marketing initiatives with hands-on operational support during live events.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, sales-driven, and creative, with proven experience in event venue sales and banquet operations. They will be responsible for generating new event business through proactive outreach, social media marketing, client relationship development, and community engagement. This role requires strong skills in content creation, social media management, lead generation, and converting inquiries into booked events.

In addition to sales and marketing responsibilities, the Sales & Marketing Event Coordinator will support the Events Manager during live events to ensure exceptional client experiences. This includes assisting with event logistics, coordinating with banquet and set-up teams, troubleshooting in real time, and maintaining the high service standards our clients expect.

Because the majority of events take place on evenings and weekends, this position requires regular weekend availability and flexibility to work during peak event times.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving event sales through tours, consultations, follow-ups, and closing contracts
• Developing and executing social media marketing strategies to increase visibility and bookings
• Creating engaging digital content and managing online platforms
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners
• Supporting event execution alongside the Events Manager and Banquet Captain
• Assisting in directing banquet and set-up staff to ensure smooth operations
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Communicating professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
