Sales Officer

Data Agro's Sales team is a crucial arm of Pakistan's most innovative, most exciting seed company.

As a Sales Officer, you'll have the task of developing new regions as part of our Sales and Marketing department. You will develop relationships with seed dealers, farmers, and corporate clients. Sales Officers are expected to spend their day on the road producing new business and developing relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Development: This role will have significant responsibilities developing new client relationships in the Layyah area with seed dealers and farmers.
• Travel: The sales officer will travel to different markets in and around Layyah as part of his/her duties. Sales Officers are expected to report to our Khanewal office when the need arises.
• Client Relations: The Sales Officer will be available for resolving customer complaints or answering questions at all possible hours of the day
• Reporting: Sales Officers are expected to compile extensive, cutting edge reports on seed and crop pricing, volatility, volume, and trends in their areas to send back tothe head office.

Skills/Experience

• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in Sales or Marketing within the agriculture industry (seeds or pesticides preferred).
• Degree: either a B.Sc (Honors) or M.Sc (Honors) in agriculture-related fields, or an MBA in business or sales operations.
• We are open to less education if the applicant has more experience or contacts in the seed dealer market.
• A network of dealers in the Layyah area within the seed industry would be a huge plus for any applicant
• Familiarity with the Layyah area and market.
• Employee must be proficient in English, Urdu and Punjabi, as well as able to communicate clearly and efficiently over text.
