Job Description:
· Primary role is to develop business in the respective locations/ regions.
· Build new customer base and manage the current relationship with customers primarily the Government Organisations & be the face of Capstone promoting the different services we offer.
· Develop strong relationships with assigned & existing customers; gain clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
· Determine customers' needs, and improve services that address the needs
· Give substantial information & updates to clients on ongoing projects as well as opportunities in process.
· Gather market intelligence which includes both competition and customer information to better manage future sales opportunities. Travel within the location/ regional army bases is a must to generate business.
· Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with in-house sourcing team
· Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations provided by the sourcing team
· Provide constant timely feedback for future buying trends back to the sales office and management
· Liaison with the Procurement/ Freight department, check the progress of existing orders, ensuring client servicing levels is to the optimum
· Tracking, recording of sales order information and sending copies to the procurement office for purchase processing.
· Assist the Regional Sales head for all support service required from time to time which includes follow up on local procurement deliveries and administration support.
· Attending team meeting and sharing best practices with colleagues
Responsibilities and Duties
(Key Results areas)
· Systematically target and approach customers to develop new business.
· Network with members of the Industry to generate sales leads.
· Do market research and find new markets and work on leads to convert.
· Conduct regular cold calling and strategically plan customer visits to optimize use of resources.
· Assess feasibility of client requirements in line with corporate objectives.
· Consult with the freight commercial in advance to evaluate delivery options to new locations.
· Coordinate with CS & Sourcing teams to offer competitive & accurate pricing on time.
· Ensure that the quotes are completed through the ERP system unless specified by the clients
· Follow up and close orders.
· Coordinate with support departments to ensure deliverables are kept on track.
· Submit daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports to head of department
· Monitor client performance regularly and Capture repeat business
· Work closely with relevant Departments (Sales Ops/ Services/Construction/ Logistics) to achieve Sales growth for assigned regions/clients.
The successful Sales Officer will need to demonstrate:

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
