Job Summary:
The Credit Card and Personal Loan Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling financial products such as credit cards and personal loans to customers. The role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering suitable banking solutions while meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively generate leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, and networking
- Promote and sell credit cards and personal loan products to individuals
- Explain product features, benefits, interest rates, and repayment terms clearly
- Assess customer eligibility and guide them through the application process
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with banking policies
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Follow up on leads and applications until closure
- Stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in banking or financial services
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Target-driven with a sales-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of financial products and lending procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
