Sales Operations Associate

Position Summary/Job Description

The Sales Operations Associate at B‑Town Vapes Inc. plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting daily retail and operational functions. This position is responsible for assisting customers at the point of sale, maintaining store cleanliness, managing inventory, stocking products, and ensuring a well-organized and compliant retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
• Ring up customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and promotions
• Ensure age verification and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Promote a positive shopping experience and build customer loyalty

Store Operations

• Receive, unpack, and properly put away inventory shipments
• Stock shelves, displays, and backroom storage areas
• Monitor inventory levels and report low or missing stock to management
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and product organization

Cleanliness & Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including counters, floors, displays, and work areas
• Ensure products are neatly displayed and properly labeled

General Duties

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
• Support team members and management with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must meet legal age requirements to work in a vape retail environment
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and inventory (up to approximately 30–50lbs)
• Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the store

Work Schedule

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. We do not have set work days. If you need time off we have a system to request time off as well as you can shift swap with other staff accordingly. Evening Shifts work anywhere for 8hrs between Noon and Midnight.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
