Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our team on a temporary basis (6 - 12 months), with the potential for a full-time opportunity. The Sales Operations Manager is a strategic partner to the sales leadership team, responsible for driving growth through data-driven insights, operational excellence, and strategic sales planning. This role ensures the sales organization runs efficiently, scales effectively, and executes against revenue goals with precision and consistency.


Essential Job Duties
:

  • Sales Strategy & Growth Enablement
    • Design and operationalize repeatable, scalable sales processes that support consistent revenue growth, market expansion, and establish a competitive moat in the market.
      • Analyze competitor approaches to identify gaps and opportunities for a stronger, defensible sales model.
    • Identify growth opportunities through customer segmentation, buyer analytics, and lead performance insights to design and implement processes and procedures that capitalize on them.
    • Design customer acquisition and onboarding efforts to drive pipeline strength.
      • Partner with Marketing and Sales Leadership to design and execute customer acquisition campaigns that drive new revenue growth.
      • Analyze campaign performance across segments to identify which strategies yield the highest conversion and ROI.
      • Develop targeting frameworks and lead scoring models that prioritize high-value prospects for acquisition.
      • Build repeatable campaign processes and automation workflows to scale outreach efficiently.
      • Continuously test and refine acquisition and conversion strategies to strengthen market position and reduce churn.
      • Define clear sales stages, handoffs, and success metrics to ensure process clarity and accountability across teams.
      • Generate and nurture inbound interest through webinars, industry events, advertising campaigns, and conventions.
    • Develop and implement go-to-market models and customer segmentation strategies for existing buyers that improves customer retention and LTV.
    • Analyze market performance and recommend course corrections to optimize resource allocation and sales focus.
  • Sales Automation & Process Optimization
    • Lead automation initiatives to streamline buyer trending, deal tracking, and reporting across the sales funnel to improve the buyer experience and maximize their ROI.
    • Leverage sales data, reporting, & insights to increase focus on proactive sales growth opportunities.
      • Continuously evaluate the sales tech stack to eliminate inefficiencies and ensure maximum ROI.
      • Use performance analytics to identify where the sales process can be streamlined, replicated, or expanded.
      • Develop scalable forecasting and planning models that support predictable growth as the organization scales.
      • Build and manage workflows, integrations, and data automations between CRM, NGL’s app, and reporting systems.
      • Develop automated dashboards and reporting systems to provide visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
    • Implement automated performance alerts, dashboards, and playbooks that enable real-time decision-making.
    • Identify manual or repetitive tasks that can be automated to allow reps to focus on selling.
    • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement automation or workflow improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Marketing to ensure alignment between lead generation and sales execution.
    • Work closely with the Product Manager to serve as a bridge between development and sales teams—translating sales needs into system solutions.
    • Partner with the development & marketing teams to implement tools that streamline prospecting, reporting, and forecasting.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Strategy roles, with a proven track record of scaling sales operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing repeatable, scalable sales processes that drive growth.
  • Strong background in sales automation and CRM management (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
  • Experience developing and executing customer acquisition campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
  • Deep understanding of sales mechanisms, competitive analysis, and building defensible advantages in the marketplace.
  • Ability to improve buyer engagement and lifetime value through operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Suite.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable growth plans.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives and fostering adoption of new tools and processes.
