The Pharmacy Sales Agent acts as the primary point of contact for retail or hospital pharmacies, focusing on the distribution and sale of medications, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and medical supplies. This role is highly focused on account management, order accuracy, and ensuring that pharmacies have the inventory they need to serve patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of pharmacy accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process daily orders for medications and supplies, ensuring pricing is accurate and delivery timelines are met.
  • New Business Development: Identify and onboard independent pharmacies or smaller healthcare clinics to expand the distribution network.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new drug launches, generic alternatives, and seasonal inventory (e.g., flu vaccines).
  • Market Monitoring: Track competitor pricing and local demand to provide feedback to the procurement and management teams.
  • Financial Coordination: Assist pharmacies in understanding credit terms, payment schedules, and bulk-purchase discounts.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business is a plus.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales, retail pharmacy, or medical distribution.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for negotiating contracts and explaining complex product details.

Essential Skills

  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and billing platforms.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Basic understanding of healthcare compliance standards and safe handling procedures for sensitive products.

Performance Metrics

  • Sales Volume: Meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets for the assigned territory.
  • Order Accuracy: Minimizing return rates due to ordering errors.
  • Client Growth: Successfully increasing the "basket size" or variety of products purchased by existing accounts.

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
