Sales Executive – Raw Materials & Ingredients is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and achieving sales targets for food ingredient and raw material products. This role involves product knowledge, market research, customer relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new clients within the food and related industries.
- Promote the company’s portfolio of raw materials and ingredients to prospective and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product proposals, and quotations.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand customer needs and market trends.
- Provide technical information and support regarding ingredient specifications and applications.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service professionally.
- Market Research & Product Knowledge
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
- Stay updated with ingredient trends, pricing, and global supply conditions.
- Identify opportunities for new product introductions.
- Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams regarding stock, delivery schedules, and sample requests.
- Ensure accurate documentation including sales orders, contracts, and compliance paperwork (COA, MSDS, technical data sheets, etc.).
- Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in food ingredients & raw materials.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Valid UAE driver’s license (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
