Sales Rep for Mobile Wallet Tech Startup

WalletThat is a startup that enables businesses to design, issue, and manage digital coupons, membership cards, loyalty cards, event tickets online that their customers can save in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. About the Position:

WalletThat is seeking a Sales Rep (SDR) with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for innovation and technology who can wear many hats to support the sales and growth efforts of the company. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for outbound efforts, lead generation, appointment setup, interacting with potential clients via web conferencing, and converting free trial accounts into paid accounts. You may also help support some current clients via email, live chat, and phone to ensure their success with our product. You will provide feedback from customer outreach to our product teams to enhance the usability and roadmap of our platform.

This position is currently hybrid, meeting in the office downtown Boston 2-3 days per week.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation and prospect research
  • Outbound sales prospecting like email campaigns and cold calling.
  • Wear many hats to support the sales and marketing efforts of the company.
  • Participate in online demos with potential clients.
  • Engage with potential clients through live chat, email, phone, web conferencing.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle in the Hubspot CRM.
  • Relay new client feature requests and issues to developers.
  • Curate sales training materials and other documents for future SDRs
  • Provide assistance to the sales manager and executive team as required.

Skills / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1+ years of relevant work or internship experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
  • A team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic
  • A self-starter with great intuition and attention to detail
  • Ability to speak confidently about technology
  • Excellent multitasking and fast execution

Preferred:

  • Understanding of CRM systems (Hubspot)
  • Understanding of end-to-end sales cycle

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 per year (base salary plus commission), with top performers earning $60,000+ annually.
