Springfield Marine Company, the leading manufacturer and supplier of boat and RV seating solutions, is currently looking to fill a Sales Representative position. The position is responsible for our established OEM accounts, as well as, establishing new business in conjunction with our Regional Sales Managers. This position is an entry level role designed to grow the individual to become a Regional Sales Manager within a 2-3 year period.
Responsibilities include:
· Identifying and acquiring new customers and up-selling to existing customers
· Develop and implement sales plans to maximize growth potential within the region
· Support Regional Sales Managers along with direct assigned accounts as point of contact
· Prepare, review, and analyze periodic sales reports showing data such as sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base expansion
· Develop and deliver sales presentations, including client training
· Represent company at association meetings, customer-specific events, and trade shows
· Coordinate with Customer's Engineering , Customer Service and Plant Management, along with Springfield Marine internal departments
· Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
· Other duties as assigned
Candidate Criteria:
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; At least 1-2 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
· Experience in Marine / RV related industry or OEM plant manufacturing sales (i.e., RV, Automotive, Power Sports) required
· Requires up to 75% travel
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and demonstrated interpersonal skills
· Ability to negotiate effectively, close deals, and represent the company in a professional manner
· Proficient in the use of Internet software and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
