A Sales Representative is responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and offering suitable products or services. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, meeting sales targets, and contributing to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports to management
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to improve customer experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills (CRM systems, MS Office, email)
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
