Sales Representative (Adhesives, coatings, chemicals)

Role Description

The B2B Sales Representative for the Southeast Region is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business, and strengthening customer relationships throughout the territory. This is a remote field‑based position, ideally suited for someone located in or near Greenville, SC, though strong candidates elsewhere in the Southeast will be considered.

This role is open to both experienced professionals and entry‑level candidates with strong potential. Full product and applications training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be driven to win and equally confident delivering presentations to senior executives in a boardroom as they are walking a factory production floor, understanding real‑world application needs, and troubleshooting with plant personnel.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Comfort and confidence interacting in both boardroom and factory environments, adjusting communication style accordingly.
  • Self‑motivated, disciplined, and effective working independently in a remote field role.
  • Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel throughout the Southeast.

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering, chemistry, industrial technology, etc.) or equivalent technical aptitude.
  • 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial, chemical, or manufacturing markets — not required; entry‑level candidates strongly considered.
  • Experience with adhesives, coatings, chemicals, or industrial equipment is beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
