Sales Representative for Interior Design

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team and drive our sales initiatives forward. In this energetic role, you will be the face of our company, traveling to visit clients around Houston, Texas, and introducing them to our various product lines.

We sell and distribute design materials like European wallpaper, interior and exterior wall cladding, and porcelain surfaces. We also have Italian-designed outdoor furniture. Your role will be to identify commercial clients that can utilize our products, and organize showroom visits to introduce them to our company.

You will offer tailored solutions that enhance their experience. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help build lasting relationships, boost revenue, and promote our brand’s reputation. Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, or perform merchandising tasks efficiently.
• Utilize strong communication skills to upsell additional products or services that benefit the customer.
• Manage pricing strategies effectively to ensure competitive and profitable sales.
• Perform heavy lifting when handling merchandise or supplies during deliveries and restocking activities.
• Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and route schedules.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or customer service roles with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical activity required for merchandising and deliveries.
• Strong math skills for handling pricing, discounts, and sales calculations.
• Knowledge of route driving, route planning, and time management skills.
• Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Organizational skills necessary for managing schedules, inventory, and documentation efficiently.

Our sales rep will receive commissions for all sales made.
