Sales Specialist

• Protect the interests of the Company and profitably grow the business.

• Make recommendations on the best wash package that matches our guest’s needs, and promote our Unlimited Membership to all that come to the window.
• Actively participate in weekly meetings with Team Leaders to address various operational aspects including sales, promotions, and staff-related matters.
• Claiming guest accounts
• Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained business environment.
• Manage POS and computer-related systems tasks efficiently.
• Perform any additional tasks that benefit the company and enhance the Member/Guest experience.
• Any additional tasks that pertain to benefiting the company and taking care of the guests
• Assist with sales training for other team members
• Step in to work other positions if needed

This job operates in a professional retail environment. Car wash operating hours are Monday through Sunday from 7:00am - 9:00pm. This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility, including both indoor and outdoor work. The job work environment is fun, clean, and fast-paced.

This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility, including both indoor and outdoor work. The job works 5 to 7 days per week on site and works 30-40 hours per week. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery, etc.
• Able to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing), detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information.
• Able to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work and commute in all weather conditions.
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers.
• Continual standing, moving, and walking for several consecutive hours during shift, which comprises 80% of daily duties. Remain stationary for approximately 20% of daily duties.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.

• 1-2 years of sales experience required
• Proven experience in a successful customer service role.
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Tommy’s University training program, preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, including, but not limited to, point of sale system and Google Workplace applications such as Google Office and email.
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
• Experience working as a Shift Lead or Team at Tommy’s Car Wash Express is preferred.
