Sales Support Associate

Overview
Join our team as a Sales Support Associate and be the vital link that empowers our sales force to succeed! In this role, we are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented SSA to serve as a liaison between our field sales team and pharmacy/clinical operations. This person will play a key role in supporting referral coordination, ensuring seamless communication, and driving operational efficiency across departments. This position is in a fast paced healthcare environment and enjoys bridging the gaps between business development and patient care delivery in the Rock Hill SC, Charlotte and Winton Salem NC areas.

Duties

• Partner with the sales team to support referral growth and territory development by assisting with tracking and documenting referral workflow.
• Proficient in utilizing Excel, CRM database, hospital EMR systems, and Microsoft regarding physician orders, labs, nursing notes, reimbursement/payer protocols, and team communications to ensure pull through of business to meet sales metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in resolving customer issues efficiently and enhance overall service.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude eager to learn and grow in a sales support role
• Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical documentation with the ability to interpret clinical notes, referral orders and intake and workflow efficiencies.
• Knowledge of sales principles or previous experience in a support role is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Associate Degree preferred; High School Diploma required; 2+ years of relevant experience or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Valid and current driver's license.
