Sales Support Representative

Location: Monroe, Wisconsin

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Support Representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and a key support partner for our Metal Ag and Lumber sales teams. You’ll handle daily order inputs, purchase orders, and provide essential office support, ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and our internal sales staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Metal Agricultural Building and Lumber sales teams with daily entry of customer orders and purchase orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly via phone, email, and chat.
• Assist customers with product details, order status updates, and general questions related to construction, lumber, and metal buildings.
• Perform accurate and efficient data entry for orders, quotes, and inventory updates.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Maintain and update customer records to ensure all sales documentation is current.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and office staff to improve customer experience and streamline sales processes.
• Follow company policies and best practices in every customer and vendor interaction.
• Provide general office help such as filing, scheduling, and administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Construction experience a plus—knowledge of the lumber industry and/or metal building products is essential but willing to train the right candidate
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities with a professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office, and common office software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Previous sales or sales-support experience preferred but not mandatory.
