Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Indirect Tax Analyst to support sales and use tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This role is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining licensing requirements, and ensuring adherence to all state and local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns, business licenses, and other indirect tax filings.
  • Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submission of returns and payments.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and process payment requests.
  • Manage new license applications, renewals, and ongoing compliance tracking.
  • Gather required documentation from internal stakeholders to support filings.
  • Assist with indirect tax audits and respond to audit requests.
  • Conduct tax research related to licensing requirements, tax rates, and regulatory changes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 100% compliance with filing deadlines
  • Accuracy in tax filings and reconciliations
  • Timely completion of licensing and renewal requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in sales & use tax, indirect tax, or business licensing (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour
