Sales Tax Consultant

We are seeking a sharp and proactive Sales Tax Consultant to join our growing consulting team in the UAE. You'll play a key role in advising clients on VAT, Corporate Tax, Excise Duties, and other tax-related matters, ensuring full compliance and delivering value-added solutions. This is a client-facing, results-driven role that blends technical tax expertise with business acumen and relationship management.

Responsibilities

Tax Mastery & Growth

• Stay up to date on VAT, Corporate Tax, Excise Duties, Customs, and any new tax regulations in the UAE.
• Interpret and share timely updates and regulatory changes with clients and internal stakeholders.

Client Engagement & Business Development

• Engage with potential and current clients to offer end-to-end tax and accounting services in a consultative manner.
• Manage a client portfolio, ensuring timely communication, education on tax obligations, and support with registrations and renewals.

Service Delivery & Risk Management

• Conduct detailed tax health checks and risk assessments for a diverse range of businesses across various industries.
• Collaborate with internal departments (accounting, legal, compliance) to ensure integrated service delivery.

Representation & Compliance

• Represent clients before the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and other regulatory bodies.
• Handle audits, respond to tax authority notices, and submit clarifications as needed.
• Maintain organized and thorough documentation to meet audit standards and internal quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in tax advisory or consulting, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Familiarity with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portal and filing procedures.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
