Sales Team Leader(US logistics)

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Team Leader to oversee and drive revenue growth within our U.S. freight brokerage division. This role is responsible for leading a team of freight brokers and sales representatives, developing strategic customer accounts, improving sales performance, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of U.S. transportation markets, and a proven track record in freight sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals focused on logistics solutions.
  • Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching, and track performance metrics.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in logistics and supply chain sectors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including large enterprises and small-to-medium businesses.
  • Oversee the creation of proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their logistics needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Resolve customer issues and challenges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and industry changes to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Help define and refine the company’s sales strategy for logistics services, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Engagement:
  • Collaborate with other departments like operations, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with logistics planners and operational teams to ensure effective solutions are proposed and executed.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Monitor and report on sales team performance and progress toward sales goals.
  • Provide detailed sales forecasts and insights to senior management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Education:
