Position Overview

The Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and lead a high-performing inside sales team focused on driving net new revenue growth and customer acquisition. This role requires a strategic leader with strong sales acumen, a data-driven approach, and a passion for coaching and motivating teams to exceed targets. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on manager, capable of building a strong sales culture and driving consistent results through proactive prospecting and pipeline development. We are a results-driven organization, and success will be measured by consistent revenue growth and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals.

Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, pipeline metrics, and conversion rates to optimize team performance.

Sales Execution:

  • Perform weekly 1:1s to assess performance, provide guidance, and hold team members accountable.
  • Motivate and drive sales reps to execute on monthly goals.
  • Help the team deliver consistent effort to meet targets.
  • Lead by example by stepping in to close deals when needed.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to sharpen sales skills and improve results.
  • Provide data insights to inform and shape strategic sales initiatives.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, product, and BDR teams to align sales strategies with business goals.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of high velocity/high volume sales experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM platforms.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Experience in SaaS or B2B sales preferred.
  • K-12 industry experience is a plus.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on accountability and execution.
  • Cellphone or personal device to receive MFA (multi-factor authentication) texts or calls.
  • Have an internet connection that’s adequate for their job, a minimum of 10Mbps down.
