Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies for TMT bars across retail, project, and institutional segments.
- Drive market penetration and expansion in assigned territories.
- Achieve annual sales volume, revenue, and margin targets.
- Coordinate with regional and area sales teams for effective execution.
2. Technical Sales Support
- Provide technical guidance on TMT grades (Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550D, Fe 600, etc.), applications, and standards (IS 1786).
- Support customers, dealers, and project clients with product selection and usage.
- Address technical queries, quality complaints, and site-related issues.
- Conduct technical presentations for engineers, architects, contractors, and government bodies.
3. Project & Institutional Sales
- Lead technical discussions and approvals for infrastructure, real estate, and government projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, PMC, and structural engineers for product approvals.
- Support tender documentation and technical compliance.
4. Market Development & Branding
- Analyse market trends, competitor products, pricing, and technical positioning.
- Assist marketing team in product positioning, technical literature, and training programs.
- Promote brand credibility through technical seminars, workshops, and site visits.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with production, quality, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure product consistency and timely deliveries.
- Provide market feedback to manufacturing and R&D for continuous improvement.
- Support quality audits and certifications when required.
6. Team Management & Training
- Lead, mentor, and train sales engineers and technical sales executives.
- Develop technical training modules for sales and dealer networks.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance for improvement.
7. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with BIS standards and company quality policies.
- Prepare MIS reports on sales performance, technical issues, and market feedback.
- Support management in strategic planning and forecasting.

9. Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Civil Engineering
- MBA (Marketing) – Preferred
- Experience:
- 10–15 years of experience in TMT/steel industry
- Minimum 5 years in senior sales/technical leadership role
