Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct sewer line inspections, locates, and site assessments
  • Build estimates using Housecall Pro pricing templates
  • Present repair options clearly and professionally
  • Close jobs at the appropriate margin
  • Complete follow-up calls/texts on outstanding estimates
  • Perform light outreach to PMCs, HOAs, and commercial sites
  • Support neighborhood stacking (6-house drop method around every job)
  • Maintain photos, notes, and documentation for every site visit
  • Collaborate with Tony to improve pricing, service, and customer experience
  • Uphold JD Sewer & Sons’ professionalism, reliability, and communication standards

Required Skills & Experience

  • Prior sales, upsell, or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and confidence with homeowners
  • Ability to learn technical components of sewer/septic/drain systems
  • Comfortable working in the field, driving to sites, and entering crawlspaces
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Self-starter with a drive to earn
  • Experience with Housecall Pro or similar software preferred

Ideal Background (Any of the following)

  • Plumbing or HVAC helper/tech with strong customer skills
  • Pest control, roofing, or home-service estimator
  • Former automotive service writer or repair estimator
  • Door-to-door or in-home sales (but not high-pressure tactics)
