Core Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry trade shows like World of Concrete.
- Consultative Selling: Meeting with clients to understand project needs and recommending specific products or equipment solutions.
- Bid Management & Estimating: Preparing detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and construction bids.
- Negotiation & Closing: Leading contract negotiations to finalize terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while maintaining profitability margins.
- Relationship Management: Building long-term partnerships with general contractors, subcontractors, and property managers to ensure repeat business.

Typical Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering(or previous experience in construction company) or Construction Management is standard.
- Experience: Most roles require 1–7 years of sales experience, ideally within the construction or building materials sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction methods, materials (steel, lumber, concrete), and safety regulations is critical.
- Travel: High willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings, often requiring a valid driver's license.
