Overview

A financial services organization, is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions supporting enterprise business operations.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and enterprise architecture groups to translate complex business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Solution Architect will define solution designs, guide delivery teams, and ensure implementations align with enterprise technology strategy and architectural standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience designing Salesforce platforms in enterprise environments, along with the ability to lead architecture decisions and guide delivery teams through implementation.

Key Responsibilities Business & Solution Architecture

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce architecture solutions.

• Design technology solutions that balance performance, scalability, security, and cost.

• Define system architecture across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms.

Salesforce Platform Architecture

• Architect Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

• Define data models, integration patterns, and security architecture.

• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

Integration & Enterprise Systems

• Design integration architectures between Salesforce and enterprise systems.

• Evaluate middleware, APIs, and event-driven architectures for system connectivity.

• Ensure reliable data exchange between Salesforce and other enterprise applications.

Architecture Governance

• Participate in architecture governance processes and technology reviews.

• Present solution architectures for technical review and approval.

• Ensure proposed solutions align with technology standards and long-term architecture strategy.

Implementation Oversight

• Provide guidance to development and delivery teams during solution implementation.

• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with approved architecture.

• Support teams in resolving technical challenges during development and deployment.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand domain requirements.

• Communicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Build consensus among stakeholders to support technology initiatives.

Mentorship & Leadership

• Mentor engineers and developers on Salesforce architecture and best practices.

• Provide technical leadership across delivery teams and architecture groups.

• Contribute to improving architecture standards and engineering practices.

Qualifications Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in information technology roles

• 5+ years leading Salesforce implementation projects

• 1 3 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles

Salesforce Expertise

• Deep experience with Salesforce platforms including:

  • Sales Cloud

  • Service Cloud

  • Marketing Cloud

  • Experience Cloud

• Experience designing enterprise Salesforce architectures and integrations.

Certifications

Preferred Salesforce certifications such as:

• Salesforce Administrator

• Advanced Administrator

• Platform App Builder

• Additional Salesforce Architect certifications are a plus

Additional certifications that are beneficial:

• AWS certifications

• TOGAF or enterprise architecture certifications

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Cloud computing platforms

  • Integration architecture and APIs

  • Event-driven and domain-driven architectures

  • Enterprise application architecture

  • Data modeling and system design

Additional Skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts

• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive architecture decisions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments is beneficial
