Job Purpose:
The Salesman will be responsible for driving sales of building materials, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the building materials market and a passion for sales.
Responsibilities:

Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and field visits. Close sales deals and meet sales targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the companys building materials products. Educate customers on product features and benefits.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance. Prepare and submit sales reports to the Sales Manager.

Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends. Provide feedback and insights to the Sales Manager.

Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure the availability of products and timely delivery to customers.

Assist in the execution of sales promotions and marketing campaigns. Provide input on marketing strategies based on customer feedback.
