Salesman (Retail Supermarket)

Job Responsibilities

· Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.

· Help customers locate products and provide product information.

· Promote supermarket products, offers, and promotions.

· Arrange and replenish shelves to maintain proper product display.

· Ensure products are properly labeled with prices and expiry dates.

· Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.

· Handle customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate department.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assigned section.

· Follow company policies, hygiene standards, and UAE retail regulations.

· Support cashier and stock teams during busy periods when required.

Requirements and Qualifications

· High school certificate or equivalent preferred.

· Previous supermarket or retail sales experience is an advantage.

· Basic English communication skills; Arabic is an added advantage.

· Good customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

· Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours.

· Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Conditions in UAE

· Shift-based work schedules.

· Long standing hours on the sales floor.

· Work in air-conditioned supermarket environments.

· Busy retail environment during weekends and festive seasons.

Reporting To

· Store Supervisor / Department Manager / Sales Supervisor

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
