Sales/Marketing Coordinator, P/T to F/T

Our newest location in Owings Mills, Maryland, offers attractions like the Zipline, Warrior Course, Dodgeball, Air Court, Toddler Play Area, and more. We provide a safe, exciting space for birthday parties, corporate events, and group activities. Committed to the local community, we create jobs, support charities, and promote active lifestyles. As we open this park, we're looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales/Marketing Coordinator to build our local presence, drive revenue growth, and energize community engagement.

What You’ll Do
Lead initiatives that increase park visits, birthday bookings, group events, and brand awareness. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, sales leadership, and hands-on marketing execution. You will build connections within the community, embrace Sky Zone’s culture, and deliver WoW guest service to all guests.

Sales Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase birthday party bookings, group events, and corporate outings
  • Manage inbound sales inquiries and lead outbound calls and email outreach campaigns
  • Build and nurture relationships with schools, organizations, local businesses, and community partners to generate group sales and sponsorships
  • Oversee account management activities to maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Track sales performance, manage customer relationships, and generate reports for management

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content and manage social media platforms to drive organic engagement
  • Execute paid advertising campaigns, email marketing, and print media
  • Plan and promote launch activities, holiday specials, and seasonal events
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze competitor strategies
  • Coordinate with headquarters to ensure brand alignment and asset support
  • Maintain and grow presence across community networks, sponsorships, and influencer collaborations

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or event planning (hospitality, entertainment, or retail experience a plus)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and inspire confidence in community partnerships
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and experience managing budgets
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as Canva, Meta Ads Manager, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends during peak times and events
