Salesperson/Estimator

Job Description:

- Sell work to meet/exceed yearly production goals

- Meet with potential clients; Meetings scheduled by Admin; meeting locations no further than 30 minutes away from office

- Provide accurate advice to potential clients, be informative while on site, gather as much information as possible relevant to the job (Including photos of jobsite conditions, existing utilities, inspiration photos, etc.)

- Develop preliminary estimate in JobTread Software, providing the client with a fully comprehensive, detailed, and transparent estimate based on preliminary information gathered at site survey

- Inform potential clients of the stages of project development necessary to complete the project (Incl. Discovery, common complications we have run into in the past, permitting, production, etc.)

- Be available to potential clients to answer questions, talk through options, etc. as needed to build a trusted and friendly working relationship

- Attend project development meetings, answer questions from the team about things that were included in the estimate versus up sell opportunities

- Communicate effectively and accurately with the project development team about items covered in the initial estimate, homeowner budget, and any pertinent information about the project (Be available post-PDA meeting to answer any remaining questions to Homeowner or Team)

- Assist Admin in Marketing content creation (Including but not limited to: Social Media Post Creation, Live Videos on Socials, etc.) – This is at the discretion of the Admin to inform of needs

- Attend key marketing events like the Lansing Home and Garden Show & Parade of Homes to promote the business

- Prospecting For New Business/Lead Generation (Including but not limited to: Networking Events, Home Builder’s Association Events, Hosting Informational Seminars, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
