Sales/Receiving Associate at Natalie's Candy Jar in DFW Airport

Natalie's Candy Jar is hiring Full Time Sales/Receiving Associates for its locations at the Dallas Ft. Worth Airport.

• Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY on WEEKDAYS and WEEKENDS!
• 2 Days a week are Receiving Associate Shifts: 8am-5pm (Tues. & Wed.)
• 3 Days a week are Sales Associate Shifts: 2pm-10:30pm

Natalie’s Candy Jar at the DFW Airport is looking for delivery helpers that will receive merchandise deliveries at our loading dock, and distribute merchandise to our retail stores and storage. Cashier experience also required.

Note: Ability to work in our retail stores as a cashier and merchandiser, and provide customer service, is a PLUS

Specific Activity – Delivery Helpers are responsible for distributing and delivering merchandise to our 4 retail candy stores in the Airport Terminals, and our Storage facilities.

Involved in moving and arranging freight . Helper must be able to handle moving approximately 150 - 200 pounds on a hand truck. Also, Helpers are responsible for breaking down pallets and moving product into the store at multiple stops.

Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse or dock experience preferred
• Prior delivery assistance experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Prior cashier experience

This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand and walk. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs

Duties:

• Stay calm during periods of high volume to keep the deliveries and our stores operating properly and set a positive example for the team
• Keep the stores clean, stocked, organized
• Act with integrity and honesty
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card

A background check will be performed by the Transportation Security Administration in order for you to obtain an airport security badge.
