Salon Cleaner / Housekeeping Attendant

1. Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean all salon areas including floors, mirrors, chairs, wash stations, bathrooms, and waiting areas.
• Sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment regularly as per salon hygiene standards.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep and mop after each client’s service, especially around styling and cutting areas.
• Clean shampoo bowls, product shelves, and trolleys.

2. Hygiene & Safety

• Follow daily cleaning schedules and maintain proper hygiene protocols.
• Disinfect all high-touch areas frequently (door handles, counters, etc.).
• Assist in washing and folding towels, gowns, and aprons.
• Refill cleaning supplies, tissue, hand wash, and sanitizers as needed.

3. Support to Salon Operations

• Assist stylists and staff by keeping the salon neat and organized during working hours.
• Ensure that the reception and client waiting area look tidy and welcoming at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to the salon manager immediately.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of cleaning products and hygiene standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and disciplined.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to work under supervision and handle cleaning schedules efficiently.

Qualifications

• Basic education (Matric or equivalent preferred).
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in a salon, spa, or hospitality industry is an advantage.

Working Hours
