Salon Front Desk (Bilingual Spanish Required)

Bilingual Salon Front Desk (Fast-Paced, Client-Focused) The Galleria Hair Salon – Houston, TX 77057 We’re looking for someone to run the front of the salon and keep everything flowing. This is not a slow or quiet desk job. Phones are ringing, clients are walking in, and stylists need help at the same time. If you like staying busy and being on top of everything, you’ll do well here. No prior salon or front desk experience is required. We will train the right person. We are not hiring based on experience. We are hiring based on attitude, work ethic, and the ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment. --- Non-Negotiable Requirements (Do Not Apply If You Don’t Meet These): - Fluent in Spanish and English (must be able to communicate clearly with clients and translate when needed) - Reliable personal vehicle (no rides, no bus) - Available Thursday, Friday, Saturday (required) - Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Professional appearance (hair and makeup done daily) --- Work Schedule (Actual Hours): - Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:45 AM – 4:00 PM - Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM - Typical hours worked: ~38–40 hours/week (You will arrive before opening and leave before closing. Must be comfortable staying slightly later if needed during busy days.) --- What You’ll Do: - Greet clients and check them in - Answer phones, texts, and booking questions - Manage the schedule and keep everything on time - Check clients out and rebook appointments before they leave - Keep stylists updated on arrivals, late clients, and changes - Confirm, adjust, and organize appointments throughout the day - Maintain accurate client info (names, phone numbers, notes) - Keep the front clean, organized, and presentable - Run laundry continuously (wash, fold, restock towels) - Offer drinks, snacks, coffee - Assist stylists when needed (mixing color, light support tasks) --- What We’re Looking For: - Strong communication and confidence with clients - Able to multitask under pressure without getting overwhelmed - Organized and detail-oriented (you notice when things are off and fix them) - Takes initiative and stays ahead instead of waiting to be told - Moves with urgency and keeps things flowing - Team player who supports stylists and the overall environment - Comfortable staying busy throughout the entire shift Experience is a plus, but not required.
